Before / AfterStone Patio Transformation
A worn rear yard was rebuilt as a full stone patio — proper base, clean borders and pattern set for the life of the install.
A working portfolio of projects we've taken from tired, failing or dated to clean, code-compliant and built-to-last.
Most of the work on this page is exterior masonry, paving and drainage — the kind of project where a quality build is the difference between something that lasts 25 years and something that fails after three winters. Every job below started with a real homeowner problem and finished with a result we'd put our name on.
Before / AfterA worn rear yard was rebuilt as a full stone patio — proper base, clean borders and pattern set for the life of the install.
Before / AfterOld asphalt removed, base re-compacted and a fresh concrete driveway poured with proper control joints and a clean curb apron.
Before / AfterA cracked, settling driveway was excavated and replaced — graded for drainage and finished for curb appeal.
Before / AfterStanding water eliminated by excavating and installing a properly sized drywell with infiltration ring — the lawn now drains within minutes.
Before / AfterA flat painted wall was clad floor-to-ceiling in stone veneer around the fireplace, creating a focal point without losing the hearth.
Before / AfterA dated front porch and brick stoop were replaced with a stone-veneer facade, bluestone treads and a leveled walkway.
Before / AfterCrumbling concrete stairs were demolished and rebuilt with code-compliant risers and a clean, durable finish.
Before / AfterAn aging stoop was rebuilt with new stone treads and safer rise — finishes matched the existing home.
Paver and concrete work fails when the base isn't compacted. We over-excavate, lay the correct depth of compacted aggregate, and screed in 1" lifts.
Every exterior job is planned for water. Patios pitched away from the house, drywells where the yard pools, weep holes where retaining walls dam runoff.
Stone, paver and concrete chosen to hold up through Long Island winters — not the cheapest spec, the right one.
Every project on this page started with an existing condition that wasn't working — a failing driveway, a worn front stoop, a flooded yard, a tired façade — and ended with a code-compliant, properly built result that's expected to last decades on Long Island.
Yes. Every photo on this page is from a real Nassau or Suffolk County job we built. The town and project type listed on each card is accurate.
