Long Island Bathroom Remodeling

Bathroom Remodeling

Spa-grade primary baths and efficient hall baths built to last.

Overview

Bathroom Remodeling done right, the first time

From compact powder rooms to expansive primary suites with steam showers and freestanding tubs, ORA Construction delivers bathrooms that combine durability with hotel-quality design. We waterproof every wet area with Schluter or equivalent membrane systems — the right way to prevent the slow failures that show up in Long Island bathrooms five and ten years after a quick remodel.

What's included

  • Curbless walk-in showers and steam systems
  • Heated tile floors and towel warmers
  • Schluter Kerdi waterproofing on every wet wall
  • Custom vanities and double-sink layouts
  • Aging-in-place: grab bars, comfort-height toilets, zero-threshold showers

Our process

1. Design

We map existing plumbing, identify wall moves, and produce a 3D layout with finish selections.

2. Demo & Rough-In

Selective demo, plumbing and electrical rough, framing changes and inspection.

3. Waterproofing & Tile

Full Kerdi (or equivalent) membrane, custom tile work, and stone install.

4. Finish & Walk-Through

Vanity, fixtures, glass, paint, final QC and care instructions.

Curbless walk-in showers and steam systems is one of the most common reasons Long Island homeowners call us — and the area where shortcuts cost the most over a decade.— ORA Construction project lead

What Long Island homeowners say

Answers

Bathroom Remodeling — FAQs

How long does a bathroom remodel take?+

It depends on the size, finishes and any plumbing or structural changes. We'll provide a realistic schedule with your proposal.

Will you waterproof the shower properly?+

Yes. Every wet area gets a fully bonded waterproof membrane — not just water-resistant backer board.
